Chillers - Rotary screw, Reciprocating, Centrifugal
A large portion of a commercial building's annual energy budget comes from the cost of operating its chillers. Properly serviced chillers are essential to cooling buildings and saving energy.
R.M. Thornton's HVAC personnel are trained to service all types of chillers; rotary screw, reciprocating and centrifugal style. Generally, rotary screw chillers are newer technology designed to increase energy savings. Reciprocating chillers are mechanical systems typically used for smaller cooling-load applications and centrifugal chillers are usually found in larger buildings with large cooling loads.
Our mechanical consultants continually update their industry knowledge to include the latest features and capacities for all three chiller systems. R.M. Thornton's 75 years of experience can make the difference for you.
